PURPOSE:
The Immigration Consultant role involves liaising with both individual and corporate clients and supporting them through the entire visa application process. The emphasis is on corporate immigration and in particular applications under Skilled Worker Route including sponsor licence applications however the individual will be expected to have knowledge and experience with applications under the majority of UK immigration matters that fall under the remit of Level 1 OISC. The role also involves serving clients that require Right to Work audit/compliance services and Global visa services in association with International Immigration partners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
- Being the first point of contact for client enquiries
- Preparing proposals and client care letters
- Advising clients on their immigration status in detail, discussing all options available to them and positioning the most appropriate solution for their needs
- Managing immigration caseloads for individual and corporate clients
- Preparing and submitting applications to UK Visas and Immigration both onshore and offshore ensuring excellent quality of each application to maximize the chances of a successful outcome
- Providing first-class relationship/account management and ensuring that clients are kept up-to-date on the progress of their application at all times
- Making clients aware of the range of other services available from the Company and cross-selling those services where appropriate.
- To provide the Senior Management Team with regular updates on immigration rules and external constraints, opportunities and threats
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- OISC Level 1 experience
- At least 3 years’ experience within an immigration practice
- Experience with both corporate and individual immigration matters
- Experience with the following application types; Sponsor licence, Skilled Worker Route, Indefinite Leave to Remain, EEA, Further Leave to Remain under Family category, UK citizenship
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience of managing difficult situations
- Client-facing skills
- Very good command of English, spoken and written
- Excellent communication skills
- Outgoing personality
- Very good telephone manner
- Should work well individually and as part of a team
- Very good organisation skills
- Experienced user of Microsoft Word, Excel
- Good negotiation skills
- Able to work using own initiative and autonomously
- Should be comfortable with calculating and presenting pricing for the purposes of producing proposals and client care letters
- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
