Sadly over 55,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK, that's 1 in 8 of us!
As October was Breast Cancer awareness month, the staff at People Force wanted to do their bit to help raise money for research and for providing services for patients. The company kindly gave the staff time off for their event which involved dressing in as much pink as possible, they wore tutus (even the men!), pink wigs and whatever they could lay their hands on and took their collecting tins around the streets and pubs of East Grinstead.
The results were 2-fold - it certainly raised awareness of the cause, in a fun way, but also encouraged a great amount of donations. An amazing £611 was raised and will be split between two great charities Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now. People Force would like to thank the kind people of East Grinstead for their generosity.
